Key teaching concepts: Depending on student's technique level, Dominic focuses on musicianship skills that will enable students to reach new levels of "chops" or find new levels of enjoyment.


Originally from Kansas City and currently residing in Oakland, Dominic has been teaching piano at Music Time Academy since its opening in 2005. He completed his Master's Degree in Piano from Cal State University, East Bay in 2009 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the highly-regarded Berklee School of Music in Boston. Dominic was also Musical Director for recent children's theater productions of "Cinderella" and "Alice in Wonderland." With 20+ years of performance experience and a broad range of influences, Dominic has proven to be a very well-rounded instructor for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. Dominic can be heard playing piano on Nick Vasallo's modern classical album "The Burning.”
